What's On at West Cliff

Due to Covid-19, we are running a revised schedule of meetings.

Our Sunday service is currently being held at 10.30am at the church and streamed via our Youtube channel. To attend in-person, booking is essential — you can find full details here.

Other Meetings

Whilst some of our in-person meetings are currently suspended, several of our weekly events are taking place online. You can find further details of these below, with instructions for how to join us.

Study Groups

Throughout the week, many of us meet in smaller groups for support, Bible study and prayer. These groups meet at different times and places — some in people’s homes and some at the church building. If you’d like to find out more about joining one of these groups, just send us a message via our Contact page.

Upcoming Events

In addition to our weekly activities, we also organise one-off events from time to time.

The Big Church Read

As a church, since the 24th May we have been joining in with The Big Church Read. Together we’ve been reading Pete Greig’s book, “How to Pray: A Simple Guide for Normal People”.

Each week, for six weeks, we’re reading a couple of chapters; there’s video input to accompany our reading (links sent via our newsletter, or you can sign up direct on the BCR website); and optional discussions on Sunday afternoons via Zoom.

To take part, you’ll just need a copy of the book and the reading plan (both available on the BCR website). Or if you’d like any further details, just get in touch.

Christianity Explored Courses
Christianity Explored is an engaging and thought-provoking course for anyone who has questions about who Jesus is, why he came, and what that means for us. It’s a great introduction to the Christian faith for those who want to find out more.

The next course will be starting soon: for more details, do get in touch.

Please think about who you could invite along to join us!

Jesus and the Biblical Feasts
In April, we had a speaker from Church’s Ministry Among Jewish People (CMJ) who led two sessions on the Old Testament Feasts in the Bible and their relevance to Jesus. The first session covered the ‘Spring’ feasts and the second the ‘Autumn’ feasts. The sessions were recorded and are available to watch on our YouTube channel.
