New to Christianity?
Perhaps you’ve never really considered Christianity, other than a passing thought at Easter or Christmas. If so, we’d love to talk with you.
Among our number you’ll find people from a whole variety of walks of life, each with our own concerns in life, and questions. That’s fine. Jesus spent time with all sorts of people… each with their own concerns and questions too! Many came to know him as their Saviour and Lord because they saw in him someone different, someone unique, whose message is such good news, whatever background we come from.

Sundays at WCBC
Our main Sunday service takes place at 10.30am each week at our church building on Poole Road.
Here’s what you can expect if you join us for church on a Sunday.
Dress Code?
Whether you want to dress casually or dress up smartly, either is fine with us — your presence with us is more important than what you wear.
Getting Here
The service starts at 10.30am, but first you need to make it to us! On our ‘Find Us’ page, you can find all the information you need about transport and parking. You may wish to arrive a little early so you have time to find a seat before we begin.
Welcome Team
There will always be someone to greet you as you enter the church. They’ll show you where to go and answer any questions you may have.
The ‘Facilities’
We have several toilets throughout the building – just follow the signs. And don’t be embarrassed if you have to pop out during the service!
You can also ask the stewards if there’s anything else you need.
About the Service
Our church services last around 80 minutes and are made up of sung worship, prayers and a talk from the Bible. The service is usually led by our Pastor, or one of our team.
On the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month, we run a West Cliff Kids Sunday School with Bible teaching for younger children. On other Sundays, parents may use the room with their children. We also have a ‘Kids Corner’ at the back of the church with Bible activities that can be used during the service.
After the Service
When the service finishes, refreshments are served in the hall — a great chance to get to know each other!
There is also the opportunity to pray with someone on our prayer team, if this would be helpful to you.
