Danny is a Member of West Cliff Baptist Church, and has recently felt called to combine his love of travel with his gifting in teaching English as a foreign language, to spread God's Word in a relatively under-developed part of the world…Cambodia.

I've been a Christian since 1998 and have a background in health & social care but more recently have been teaching English to migrant workers and asylum seekers at Pathways International School, Bournemouth. I did my CELTA TEFL qualification 3 years ago but it has only been recently that I have put it to use.
The last ten years have seen many challenges both personally and professionally which God has faithfully lead me through and when I look back, His timing has always been perfect. During recent years I have visited some interesting places, worked on a Christian farm retreat in Australia, volunteered for a Cape Town substance misuse charity and now am answering a call to South East Asia, to Thailand and Cambodia.
Hebrews 11 v8:
"By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God."
